We collect the following types of data to ensure the consensus mechanism works fairly and to display relevant advertising:
1.1 Personal Data & Account Information
- Email Address (Required for account authentication and recovery);
- Username/Handle;
- Country (Used for network distribution analytics).
1.2 Fuzzy Biometric Data (Future Implementation)
In future updates (Phase 2), we plan to introduce a Liveness Verification system to prevent bot farms. Important: In the current version of the app, NO biometric data is collected, stored, or processed.
When implemented, the future system will generate a non-reversible cryptographic hash and will NOT store images of your face.
1.3 Automatically Collected Data & Identifiers
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, and unique identifiers to prevent multi-accounting.
- Advertising ID (AD_ID): Used by Google AdMob to deliver personalized advertisements and analytics.
- App Interaction Data: Logs of consensus sessions (time started/ended) and app performance logs (Crashlytics).
- IP Address: For security, fraud detection, and approximate location (Country level).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide Core Services: Create and maintain your account and enable consensus participation.
- Improve Services: Analyze network load and fix bugs.
- Advertising: To display Rewarded Ads via Google AdMob (Advertising ID is used here).
- Communicate with You: Send security alerts or major updates.
- Security & Compliance: Detect and ban bot networks or scripted attacks using device fingerprints.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in specific circumstances:
- Service Providers: Trusted partners including Google Firebase (Authentication, Notifications) and Google AdMob (Advertising) bound by strict confidentiality.
- Legal Requirements: If required by court order or government regulation.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you delete your account, your personal identifiers (Email) are removed immediately from our active databases.

- Encryption: Sensitive data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/SSL) and at rest.

8. Request Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your account and remove all associated data from our systems, you can do so directly within the Parallax Network App:
- Open the App and log in;
- Go to the "Profile" tab (bottom menu);
- Scroll down and tap on "Delete Account";
- Confirm your choice with your password.
This action is immediate and irreversible. If you no longer have access to the app, you may request deletion by emailing support@parallaxnetwork.xyz with the subject "ACCOUNT DELETION".

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via the App or by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
